Won the Carlos Aguilar Memorial Regatta

We had an excellent week of sailing in St. Thomas in December, with beautiful sun, warm water, a great team of Sally Barkow, Jen Glass, and Liz Hall, and some wonderful racing. We finished the round robins tied with Anna Tunnicliffe, but won the tiebreak so got to choose which team to race in the semis. We then won the semis 2-0 over Lee Icyda’s team, and went on to win the finals 3-0 against Liz Baylis’s team. The event was very shifty and puffy, but we enjoyed the conditions as they definitely meant that a race was never over till the very end! We also had a great time snorkeling after the event was over and really enjoyed all the hospitality that the St. Thomas Yacht Club extended to us and the other competitors.
